Virtual Tour – background image doesn’t display in Chrome

I’m working on a 360 Virtual Library Tour but the background image (a panorama pic) doesn’t display in Chrome. Regular images seem okay. I have been embedding H5P code into LibGuides and thought maybe that was the problem, but it doesn’t work in my H5P Sandbox (WordPress) site either. It displays fine in Firefox.

The only mention I could find of this on the H5P.org forum suggested re-uploading the photo, which I’ve done. Still not working, just a black background 🙁

The link to my H5P LibGuide is: https://camosun.libguides.com/h5p

Has anyone else used the 360 Virtual Tour successfully? Any tips would be appreciated!

I think I figured this out… leaving this post in case others run into problems!

Your image must have a 2:1 ratio. Originally, I was using a photo I took in panorama mode (landscape orientation) on my phone.
Solution: Take panorama photos in portrait mode on your phone or use a 360 photo app such as Google Street View
